The Tsunami

I rode a giant wave of energy today that i could only describe as the most intense feeling of my heart flying full speed ahead with no grounding gear near.   Now i recognize it, I recognize it from the Ode to Movement (quoted above). It's the energy of transition and growth, when the catalyst necessary for the next phase releases the tsunami. 

The tsunami towers overhead in a pulsing vibrating sheath of energy, a water wall about to explode. I recognize it's greatness as it has been cultivating and growing itself for months, the tsunami is the energy wave built from intentional choices....and when it reaches its threshold for holding back this intense growth....its humming, it's vibrating, its electric  and it's about to explode.

I lay underneath looking up. I am excited. Are you? Or are you scared? It's crazy intense and could def kill you. But, it won't. It is a culmination of all your strength earned from diving deep into your heart with each blow life has so graciously delt you, instead of numbing and cowering and blaming. Courage. Earned. Embodied. 

I am not scared. I am excited by this intense energy that's about to kick my ass and who knows where I will windup when the energy of the crashing waves has calmed. 

Be not afraid. Dive deep into your heart. Listen when you experience discomfort, your heart is speaking to you. Listen and test its boundaries, seek it's edge of comfort and push beyond and find the strength and power of your own heart.
